3 things you didn’t know about our campaign shoot!
1. We Always Have a Contingency Plan
When we’re planning a campaign shoot, we ALWAYS have a back-up plan.
On this particular occasion we needed more than one.
We had everyone ready to go on not one but two days only to wake up and hear the dreaded sound of pouring rain. Our fantastic team re-convened to shoot on the weekend with fingers crossed.
You’d never know it but while we took this shot it was storming outside. We battled on and off rain all day, but we got the shot!
2. The Equipment Comes First
A lot of people think shooting a campaign is super luxurious.
Trust us, it’s not. When dealing with debaucherous weather the equipment really does come first!
On the day of our shoot we had some team members balancing umbrellas like our videographer George or foregoing their poncho’s to cover the cameras.
3. Our Locations Can Be Deceiving
If you flicked through Facebook or jumped onto our website, you’d think our recent campaign was shot in Cuba. With bright colours and vintage cars, we were inspired by the eclectic aesthetic of Havana!
Truth? We shot in Erskineville and Paddington. We spend a lot of time scouting locations and perfecting our shot lists to make sure they look just right.
